After some mockups with scrap fabric, this was the finished bodice- the first piece of the dress I made.
As my first large sewing project, adding a new element was very exciting. Here, I have attached a ruffle to my bodice and body panel.

I loved experimenting with trying to portray different textures and fabrics. For my first go at it, I’m very proud of how the ceramic wicker basket and blanket turned out.
